Packaging Manager
In the process of expanding our production in Campbellfield we are now in need of a leader to oversee the packaging lines that currently operate over 24/5 in three shifts.
The Packaging Manager is responsible for the hands-on management of beverage canning and bottling filling and packaging operations. This role ensures that production yield, quality, food safety, and workplace safety targets are consistently achieved.
The role provides day-to-day leadership of the production team and has direct accountability for the safe startup, efficient running, and controlled shutdown of both canning and bottling production lines. The successful person will play a key role in training, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement within packaging operations.
Experience in the beverage industry is a must have.

IDL is a family-owned business that provides end-to-end, full-service beverage manufacturing for over 15 years in the Moorabool Valley, just outside Geelong’s city centre. In 2025 we invested in additional assets in Campbellfield adding another bottling and canning line to our capacity as well as a brewhouse and state of the art distillery.
We offer complete private label and contract beverage production solutions for our customers who are interested in the development of their own labels for the domestic and export markets. Our facility houses some of the most sophisticated beverage processing equipment in the world, leading us to invest in new technology both in beverage production, packaging and IT systems.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s confident on the floor yet can complete admin and rostering as though their life depended on it. Are comfortable leading others and can stay calm under pressure. You’re the type who notices the little things, keeps an eye on the bigger picture, and steps in to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. You aren’t afraid of a challenge, and your super organised nature means you are always on top of your tasks.
You’ll need:
- Previous experience in beverage packaging, bottling, or canning operations
- Strong hands-on experience with filling and packaging equipment.
- Experience leading or training production teams in an FMCG environment.
- Sound understanding of food safety, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a practical mindset
- A positive, can-do attitude
- A drive for problem solving
