IDL is on the lookout for a hands-on Packaging Line Supervisor to lead one of our hardworking teams on the bottling and canning lines. If you’ve got mechanical know-how, a knack for organisation, and enjoy helping people do their best work, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in the beverage industry is a must have.
A little bit about us…
IDL is a family-owned business that provides end-to-end, full-service beverage manufacturing for over 15 years in the Moorabool Valley, just outside Geelong’s city centre. In 2025 we invested in additional assets in Campbellfield adding another bottling and canning line to our capacity as well as a brewhouse and state of the art distillery.
We offer complete private label and contract beverage production solutions for our customers who are interested in the development of their own labels for the domestic and export markets. Our facility houses some of the most sophisticated beverage processing equipment in the world, leading us to invest in new technology both in beverage production, packaging and IT systems.
What We’re Looking For
In the process of expanding our production in Campbellfield we have landed a large contract that requires us to bolster our workforce.
We’re after someone who’s confident on the floor, comfortable leading others, and can stay calm under pressure. You’re the type who notices the little things, keeps an eye on the bigger picture, and steps in to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks to keep the bottling or canning line running smoothly
- Operate and monitor machinery used in the packaging process
- Enforce compliance with OHS and company policies and procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture — ensuring your team follows safe systems of work
- Actively supervise and interact with workers to ensure tasks are done safely and to company standards
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing training to your team
- Ensure all required reports and documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Report any machine damage or use of spare parts
You’ll need:
- Experience in a beverage manufacturing or production environment
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Good mechanical aptitude and a practical mindset
- A positive, can-do attitude
- A drive for problem solving
