Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Administration Officer to join our team in Ringwood, Victoria. This part-time permanent role offers flexibility of days and hours worked. Ideally, this role is 15-20 hours a week, 4-5 hours a day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping finances organised, working independently, and supporting a small business across bookkeeping and administration. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, help manage cash flow through debtor follow-up, and assist with general administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily bookkeeping using Xero 

  • Bank and account reconciliations 

  • Drafting supplier bills and maintaining records 

  • Managing aged debtors and following up outstanding invoices 

  • Processing staff reimbursements 

  • Assisting with payment runs 

  • Drafting and formatting client contracts and documents 

  • Manage office supplies and ensure the smooth running of administrative functions.
  • Provide support to the management team with various administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on Xero experience (essential) 

  • Bookkeeping or accounts administration background 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
