The Opportunity
As we scale, the integrity of our engineering data and configuration management systems is critical to everything we build. This is a hands-on, high-impact role sitting at the intersection of engineering, operations, and IT — where your work directly enables the people building Australia’s most advanced aircraft.
You’ll own configuration management (CM) across the engineering team, drive continuous improvement of our product lifecycle management tools (primarily Siemens Teamcenter), and ensure our systems and processes are fit for the pace and complexity of hypersonic vehicle development.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage a full range of product information, including CAD data and product structure, in Teamcentre and other engineering tools.
- Ensure the defined configuration management process (CMP) for projects is implemented and maintained throughout the life of projects/products.
- Ensure the correct capture of configuration information/changes within CM tools.
- Develop training on the CM system and provide ongoing training and support to the engineering team in the use of Teamcentre and other tools.
- Regularly report CM status.
- Prepare, organise and participate in system audits.
- Implement, upgrade and maintain engineering tools (primarily Teamcentre) to provide the
engineering team with the required functionality.
- Assist with improving, maintaining and deploying engineering processes to the wider team.

What you’ll bring (must haves):
- Working knowledge of configuration management principles, and practices (ideally 2+ years experience).
- Demonstrated experience in deploying engineering applications and database management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Familiarity with engineering or technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable and results driven.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Capability to train others on CM tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable security clearance or background checks.
- Legal right to live and work in Australia.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in customising and administering Siemens Teamcentre.
- Experience in back-end updates to Siemens Teamcentre, facilitating business specific engineering data processing and management.
- Experience with Siemens NX and Solidworks Teamcenter integration.
