About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Workshop / Storeperson to join our Gympie-based team on a casual, part-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and stores department. You will be responsible for supporting our technical team by managing inventory, maintaining workshop standards, and ensuring parts are ready for critical maintenance projects.
The position involves a variety of hands-on tasks, from receiving and dispatching goods to maintaining general housekeeping. You will handle hydraulic and lubrication components daily, ensuring all parts are correctly identified, stored, and dispatched. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical, organised environment and wants to be part of a specialist industrial services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming goods and materials against orders.
- Dispatching parts and equipment to job sites and customers efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels.
- Organising and maintaining workshop and stores areas to high standards of cleanliness and order.
- Labelling, tagging, and storing parts according to company procedures.
- Assisting technicians with parts identification and retrieval for upcoming jobs.
- Performing basic data entry and documentation in inventory systems.
- Ensuring WHS compliance in all stores and workshop activities.
- Handling hydraulic, lubrication, and rotating equipment components with care.
- Supporting workshop cleanliness and adhering to 5S standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or workshop environment is preferred.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Forklift licence is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry.
- Knowledge of hydraulic or industrial components is considered advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset.
- Available for flexible part-time hours (approx. 15–20 hours per week).
