Join Hutcheon & Pearce as a John Deere Service Technician working with our Small Ag & Turf equipment. Become the trusted expert our customers depend on to keep their machinery performing at its best. From routine services to diagnosing and fixing the tougher mechanical challenges, you’ll play a key role in keeping customers moving.
This is a hands‑on, problem‑solving role where you’ll work independently, showcase your technical skills, and be supported by a team that values quality, innovation, and genuine customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carry out diagnostics, routine servicing, and repairs on small agricultural and turf machinery, as well as Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Take part in ongoing John Deere Service Training to continue building your expertise.
- Look after workshop assets by maintaining the condition of service vehicles, tools, equipment, and parts inventory
- Follow all safety standards, procedures, and company policies when completing service tasks.
- Complete required documentation, reports, and service records accurately and on time.
- Record labor time and materials used for each job to support accurate workflow and service transparency.
What You’ll Bring:
- A current qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics or higher
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Self-motivated, highly organised with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to use computer systems.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to ensure we meet customer deadlines.
