Located in Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast, Batemans Bay Marina Resort offers a range of holiday accommodation options situated on a beautiful waterfront location overlooking the ocean. We are opening a new Indoor Golf Simulator with a bar and Mexican Restaurant !

We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Time Chef to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Menu Planning and Execution
  • Maintain the highest standards of food production and service are achieved.
  • Adhere to food safety requirements and hygiene and cleanliness procedures.
  • Ensure food storage is in accordance with food safety plan and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of operations and food ordering procedures, including producing delivery lists to ensure sufficient supply of stock and stocktaking.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving food supplies, to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house and support staff during service.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience as a Chef
  • Understanding of Australian Food safety Standards and Regulations
  • Strong passion for quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and general kitchen skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Understand and execute Hygiene and Cleanliness procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solutions focused
  • Available to work, a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays
