About the Role
We are currently seeking a Full Time, All-Rounder – Grounds, Maintenance and Cleaning to join our team in the Gold Coast region. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work and can assist across multiple areas of park operations. The role is Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be someone who can work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently with residents.
No two days will be the same, and the successful applicant will thrive in a practical, approachable environment. You will take pride in your work and appearance, be self-motivated, and have strong attention to detail. A passion for grounds maintenance, cleaning, and general handyman work is essential, along with a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
This role assists with the day-to-day operations of the park including grounds care, maintenance and general cleaning.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role (training can be provided to the right person).
The successful applicant must hold a current Driver’s Licence.
You will be competent in the use of equipment such as:
- Ride-on mowers
- Hedge trimmers
- Whipper snippers
- High-powered hand tools
- Pressure hoses
Key responsibilities will include:
- General grounds maintenance and yard work
- General maintenance and handyman tasks
- Assisting with minor maintenance across park facilities and accommodation
- Cleaning of amenities and common areas
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across the park
- Supporting other operational tasks as directed by the Manager
The successful applicant will also demonstrate:
- Attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and presentation
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Excellent personal presentation with a friendly and positive attitude
- A willingness to assist with various tasks as required
