The Position
The Marketing & Communications Manager has both a strategic and operational
focus. This role develops, leads, executes and reviews HousingFirst’s marketing
and communications activities across digital channels, publications and events,
as well as internal and external communications and crisis management, to drive
engagement goals and support HousingFirst’s national growth strategy.
Based primarily in our St Kilda road office, this job will be a hybrid role with 2
days working from home.
Responsibilities
·
Lead
an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned to HousingFirst’s
national growth agenda, driving resident/staff engagement and community
cohesion.

Plan,
manage and optimise paid media activity (strategy, buying, budgets and KPI
reporting) to deliver measurable outcomes.
·
Own
and manage HousingFirst’s digital presence, including website performance and
emerging resident engagement platforms, ensuring timely and appropriate
responses across channels.

Develop
high-quality communications and content, including annual report, newsletters,
brochures, surveys and regular resident/staff updates.
·
Deliver
engaging social media and community engagement activity, including a content
calendar and hands-on creation of video and reel-led content.
·
Acting
as a key contact for stakeholders and media; identifying proactive PR
opportunities; overseeing media monitoring and supporting sensitive
issues/crisis communications with the ELT.
