What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage the full payroll process and ensure accurate employee data across the business, contributing to a seamless employee experience.

  • End‑to‑end fortnightly payroll processing
  • Managing payroll through Employment Hero
  • Working closely with People & Culture on employee changes and data accuracy
  • Interpreting awards, EBAs, and employment contracts
  • Processing onboarding, terminations, and employment variations
  • Responding to payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with Fair Work, tax, and superannuation requirements
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing reports
  • Assisting with occasional admin tasks as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a payroll‑focused role
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Hero (essential)
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation
  • Proven experience with award interpretation; exposure to multiple awards (Food, Beverage & Tobacco Manufacturing Award experience ideal)
  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Intermediate Excel skills (desirable)
