Key Account Manager – Lead Major Accounts & Unlock New Growth!

 

Full-time | Permanent | Gold Coast & Toowoomba

Gold Coast Bakery and Homestyle Bake are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to take the lead on our major customer portfolio and help identify smart, commercially aligned opportunities for future growth.

This is a fantastic role for someone who loves building strong partnerships, understands the dynamics of major accounts, and enjoys working strategically within the FMCG or food manufacturing space.

You’ll step into a pivotal position managing some of our business’s most significant customers – ensuring they’re supported commercially, operationally and strategically. At the same time, you’ll keep an eye out for sensible new opportunities that align with our capabilities and growth priorities.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Manage, nurture and strengthen relationships with our largest customers
  • Monitor performance across KPIs, budgets, forecasts and commercial agreements
  • Identify and support suitable new business opportunities
  • Lead major negotiations and tender submissions
  • Contribute to pricing, product strategy and route-to-market initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Technical & Sales Executive
  • Ensure compliance with commercial policies and uphold brand standards

 

What You Bring

You’re a confident communicator with strong commercial judgement and a proven track record managing influential customer relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Current driver’s license
  • Flexibility for occasional travel, early starts, and public holiday work

Experience

  • Demonstrated success managing key accounts within FMCG, food, or manufacturing
  • Proven ability to maintain, grow and enhance major customer relationships
  • Experience identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

The Package

Attractive salary package + car/travel allowance + superannuation (Full compensation details shared with shortlisted candidates.)

 

Location & Travel

This position works across both:

  • Molendinar (Gold Coast Bakery)
  • Toowoomba (Homestyle Bake)

The role can be based in either Gold Coast or Toowoomba, with flexible work arrangements available for the right person. It also includes regular travel between sites and to customers, so flexibility and mobility are essential.
