We’re currently looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our Eastern Creek team and play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our fast-paced,
tri-temperature warehouse environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing inventory across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen environments, supporting a diverse customer base within convenience,
retail, and FMCG.
You’ll take ownership of inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and system alignment, while driving
continuous improvement across processes, reporting, and team capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory across customer ERP systems and the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, and stock losses in collaboration with operations and IT
- Oversee SKU and UBD controls to ensure FEFO compliance
- Lead cycle count programs and inventory governance frameworks
- Monitor and report on inventory KPIs including accuracy, ageing, loss, and stock turns
- Support warehouse layout, slotting optimisation, and space utilisation strategies
- Ensure accurate master data setup and system integrity for all inbound inventory
- Drive compliance with food safety standards, temperature control, and audit requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop inventory team members
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cost
About You
You’re a detail-oriented and commercially minded inventory professional who thrives in a fast-paced
environment. You bring a strong understanding of warehouse operations and know how to balance accuracy, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
You will also have:
- 5+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution, or operations (ideally
within FMCG or retail)
- Strong knowledge of WMS platforms and inventory control principles
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments (highly regarded)
- Working knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP)
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and manage inventory KPIs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
