Are you a logistics professional with strong experience in transport coordination,
warehousing, and operational delivery? Holloway Removals is looking for a highly
organised Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our logistics and supply
functions across local and interstate operations. This is a key leadership role based
in Zillmere, Brisbane.
About the Role
As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and
coordinating the storage and distribution of goods and materials. You will oversee
transport scheduling, inventory control, warehousing efficiency, and ensure
compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the movement of goods across local and interstate
- routes.
- Develop and manage logistics strategies to improve service delivery, reduce
- costs, and optimise vehicle use.
- Oversee the receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of client goods and
- inventory.
- Liaise with warehouse staff, drivers, clients, and suppliers to ensure efficient
- operations.
- Maintain logistics records, including delivery schedules, freight
- documentation, and compliance reports.
- Monitor performance metrics, including delivery times, cost efficiency, and
- service levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and environmental
- requirements.
- Identify and resolve logistical issues and implement process improvements.
About You
- Proven experience in logistics, transport, or distribution management—ideally
- in the removals, freight, or warehousing sector.
- Sound knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and
- delivery scheduling.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage
- internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics or warehouse management systems (WMS) and
- Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best
- practices.
