Warehouse Storeperson

We are seeking a highly capable Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves warehouse operations and manual handling tasks, including the safe loading and unloading of merchandise, proficient operation of warehouse equipment, and the accurate maintenance of inventory records. There will be times you are required to assist in the showroom, experience in retail sales is advantageous.

The Opportunity:

• Picking and loading deliveries and pickups for customers
• Delivering orders to customers
• Receiving and unloading stock deliveries from suppliers
• Data entry, invoicing and receipt of stock
• Maintaining accurate stock records and data entry
• Cycle counts and stock takes
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Greet and acknowledge customers in a timely manner
• Assist customers with sales enquiries and product selection 
• Must be available to work Saturdays

Skills & Experience:

• Forklift licence advantageous
• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Retail sales experience advantageous
• Great accuracy and attention to detail
• Physically capable of manual handling
• Computer literacy
• Friendly, helpful attitude
• Reliable and punctual
