Hidrive is seeking a skilled Mobile (Fly-In-Fly-Out) Automotive Electrician & Accessories Installer
to join our team based at the Melbourne office. This exciting role offers variety and travel, as you’ll visit multiple Hidrive locations to carry out on-site installations on a diverse range of vehicles. You’ll ensure all electrical systems and accessories are fitted and operating to the highest standards. Travel frequency and duration will align with operational requirements, providing a dynamic and rewarding work experience.
About the role
The role consists of fitting service bodies onto new vehicles as outlined in work instructions
and engineering drawings. Tasks include the installation of accessories onto vehicle and service bodies such as bull bars, LRFT’s, Cranes and Winches. We have clean, modern workshops with inhouse training and tools provided.
About you
- Certificate 3 or higher in Automotive Electrical Technology or studying towards this qualification
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proactive, organised, and accountable to the business
- Demonstrated competency in Automotive electrical tasks, all accessories’ installations, fit out and vehicle integrations and Innovation & Process mapping to consistently improve existing challenges and issues
- Work collaboratively with your manager and the team on site
- Adherence to Workplace Health & Safety policies are crucial
- Customer centricity
- High communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
