We are now seeking an Employment Lawyer to join our growing practice. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned practitioner, this is an opportunity to work across diverse workplace matters with the support and resources of a full-service firm.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll handle a broad range of employment and workplace relations matters, including unfair dismissals, general protection claims, enterprise bargaining, award interpretation, workplace investigations, disciplinary and performance issues, and employment contracts/policies.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing your own matters with support tailored to your experience level
- Advising employers and employees on workplace rights, risks and strategy
- Preparing high-quality written advice, employment contracts and policies
- Running or assisting with matters before the Fair Work Commission and Courts
- Conducting or supporting workplace investigations
- Working collaboratively with Commercial, Litigation and HR Advisory colleagues
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear, solutions-focused communication
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to candidates from any level of experience who bring:
- Experience in employment law or general litigation with a desire to specialise
- Strong drafting, analytical and advisory skills
- Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex, time-sensitive matters
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
- (Senior applicants) Ability to supervise, lead matters independently, and contribute to BD
