About the role
As Fashion Designer, you will:
- Design, create and execute seasonal capsules
- Review capsules and best sellers, developing new updates to the range
- Research and analyse trends nationally and internationally, translating them for the Hello Molly customer
- Collaborate with the creative team on trend boards and colour palettes aligned to the brand
- Run fit sessions to ensure accurate and consistent garment fit
- Approve fabric submissions, graphics and strike-offs
- Manage the design process to meet deadlines and launch dates
- Prepare detailed tech packs including fabrication, finishes, measurements, style codes and delivery dates
- Work closely with manufacturers through design, sampling, corrections and bulk production
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About you
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Fashion Design (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in womenswear fashion design (essential)
- A strong portfolio demonstrating trend-driven, commercial ranges
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong fabric, raw material and garment construction knowledge
- The ability to commercially interpret trends for a fast-fashion customer
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
