Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality construction outcomes. This role leads site teams, manages plant, materials, and subcontractors, and works closely with the Project Manager to meet safety, quality, program, and cost objectives. HEH Civil’s project portfolio includes earthworks, road and highway upgrades, drainage and culverts, water and sewer infrastructure, subdivision development, marine infrastructure, urban infrastructure, bridge works, airport precinct upgrades, and broader civil construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise site crews to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Manage labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors across active work fronts
- Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Coordinate civil works including earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, and marine/urban/bridge infrastructure activities
- Resolve on site issues and support continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, clients, and stakeholders
- Ensure work meets program, budget, and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate daily records, reporting, and site compliance documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision (formal education requirement)
- Experience supervising civil construction projects (roads, bridges, drainage, water/sewer, earthworks, utilities, subdivisions, marine and urban works)
- Proven experience delivering Tier 1 and TMR projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate crews, plant, and subcontractors effectively
- Good understanding of WHS, environmental, and quality systems
- Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
- Experience in pipelaying and general civil infrastructure delivery
