Plant Operator

About the Role

HEH Civil is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our FNQ operations. We have both casual and full-time opportunities available for the right applicant. You’ll operate a range of machinery across civil infrastructure projects, working alongside a supportive team that values safety, precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators (5t–30t) for trenching, bulk earthworks and detailed excavation

• Operate graders, compactors, loaders, trucks and other plant

• Support pipe crews and general civil construction works

• Complete routine maintenance and daily machinery checks

• Read site plans and follow supervisor instructions

• Work collaboratively to meet project targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ excavator experience in civil construction

• Construction White Card

• GPS/laser system experience

• HR licence (advantageous but not essential)

• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic

• Current driver licence and reliable transport
