The Role
As an SMSF Accountant you will:
- Independently manage your own portfolio of SMSFs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all compliance and administration task
- Proactively monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes and service standards.
- Have regular contact with advisers, answering questions and follow up queries
- Provide technical advice and resolve complex queries
- Review junior team members’ work and support workflow
- Compile accurate financial reports
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualifications with proven SMSF accounting expertise
- High level organisational skills with the ability to manage your own portfolio and competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation, compliance requirements and accounting principles
- Excellent client communication skills while maintaining fund compliance
- Proficiency with SMSF accounting software, ideally CLASS
- Ability to self-manage and collaborate with a team
