We are seeking a motivated and organised Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role will play an important part in ensuring Hedweld’s plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard through the coordination of planned and preventative maintenance activities.

Working closely with internal teams, contractors and management, this position will support the effective planning, scheduling and monitoring of maintenance activities across Hedweld sites.

Key Responsibilities      

  • Coordinate maintenance requirements for Hedweld plant and equipment across company sites
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative and planned maintenance activities      Support capital maintenance projects from planning through to completion  
  • Monitor maintenance schedules and track compliance against planned work
  • Maintain an asset database for all plant/equipment, including service records and up-to-date vehicle registrations
  • Act as a key point of coordination between technicians, contractors and management
  • Analyse asset data to support reliability and minimise downtime
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate asset and service records for plant, equipment and vehicles
  • Coordinate resources, materials and equipment required for maintenance activities
  • Support production teams to ensure maintenance aligns with operational requirements
  • Assist with reviewing maintenance job costings against budget

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification (Plant, Heavy Industry or similar) preferred
  • Previous experience in maintenance coordination or planning roles
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and varied workloads
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (advantageous)
  • Current driver’s licence
