In addition to our manufacturing operations, Hedweld operates farming enterprises at Milbrodale and Mount Thorley, NSW, managing cattle and sheep. These properties also support research and development activities for Hedweld’s agricultural division, MILBROTEC.

We are currently seeking a Casual Farm Hand – Spray Operator to support spraying operations on our farm.

This role is focused specifically on the safe and effective application of herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers, and is suited to someone with practical farm experience and a strong safety focus.

About the role

Casual position (hours as required, seasonal and weather dependent)
Operate spray equipment to apply chemicals and crop treatments
Mix and handle chemicals in accordance with safety and label requirements
Maintain spray equipment and keep basic records of applications
Follow all WHS and environmental guidelines

About you

Experience operating farm spray equipment (boom spray or similar preferred)
Chemical accreditation (ChemCert or equivalent) highly regarded
Strong understanding of safe chemical handling practices
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
Current driver’s licence

This is a casual role, with hours varying based on seasonal requirements and weather conditions.
