About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Lead to join our expanding ANZ sales team, focused on the public and private health sector across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Sales, ANZ, this role is instrumental in accelerating regional growth, cultivating high-value relationships, and executing sales strategies that align with our broader commercial objectives.
The Sales Lead will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and delivering tailored, data-driven solutions that support long-term partnerships with public health organisations. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of public and private health systems, strong consultative selling capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across internal teams and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads within the public hospital and health sector, contributing to pipeline growth and opportunity development.
- Execute “land and expand” strategies under the guidance of the Director of Sales, helping to nurture long-term customer relationships.
- Apply knowledge of public health systems in Australia and/or New Zealand to support sales conversations, particularly around procurement processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct consultative sales engagements, translating product capabilities into clinical and operational value for prospective customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with frontline clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to support account development and retention.
- Champion customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Manage day-to-day sales activities, including CRM updates, pipeline tracking, and reporting to the Director of Sales.
- Support sales forecasting and planning by providing timely and accurate data inputs for financial modelling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product, marketing, and customer success to align on customer needs and messaging.
- Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and tender responses, ensuring alignment with strategic sales objectives.
- Coordinate with international colleagues across Australia, Ireland, and the UK to share insights and maintain consistency in sales approaches.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- About You:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, health, technology, or a related discipline; postgraduate study is advantageous.
- Proven success in enterprise or strategic sales, ideally within health technology, digital health, or clinical informatics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in the healthcare sector (public or private).
- Familiarity with health data platforms, clinical decision support tools, or hospital performance improvement solutions is highly desirable.
