Electrician – Cable Manufacturing
The Electrician is responsible for supporting cable manufacturing, assembly, and electrical work while ensuring all systems and equipment are installed, maintained, and repaired safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble electrical cables including cutting, stripping, terminating, and fitting connectors to specification.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cable assembly documentation
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform testing and quality checks including continuity and functionality testing of cables and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist with repairs and equipment maintenance.
- Operate and set up cable production and assembly machinery where required.
- Maintain accurate production, testing, and maintenance records
- Follow all electrical standards, safety procedures, and company policies
About You
- Qualified Electrician (Certificate III Electrical Trade Qualification).
- Experience with electrical systems, cable termination, and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and workmanship
- Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
