Boilermakers
HBT Services Queensland is looking to employ boilermakers who will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of OEM underground mining equipment and related systems. This role requires expertise in welding, cutting, and metalwork, and involves working with several types of metals and materials to ensure that these systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in boiler making, welding and fabrication within a workshop environment.
- Be involved in risk assessment, development of job procedures and ensure Take 5s are filled out prior to commencing each job task.
- Maintenance of documentation, service records, equipment, tools, and work areas as per procedures.
- Ensure that all work is kept to a high quality.
- Ensure quality assurance practices as required by the project are always adhered to.
About You:
• Proven experience as a Boilermaker
• Trade Certificate (Cert III Engineering Fabrication Trade)
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• HRWL is highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
