Alamo Beer Company is an independently operated microbrewery nestled in the heart of Brendale’s industrial district. We take pride in offering a diverse range of beers, with up to eleven rotating taps, all brewed in-house. Role Overview:
We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly casual staff to join our Taphouse team! As a Taphouse team member, you’ll be the face of Alamo Beer Company, ensuring every guest has a great experience. From pouring beers to chatting with customers about our latest brews, you’ll be part of a fun and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pouring and serving our in-house craft beers and ciders with excellent customer service.
- Engaging with customers and providing recommendations on beer styles and flavours.
- Handling transactions and operating the point-of-sale system.
- Assisting with taphouse cleanliness, glassware washing, and stock replenishment.
- Supporting brewery events, including tastings, trivia nights, and beer launches.
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements are met at all times.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- A passion for craft beer and customer service.
- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
- Previous hospitality or bar experience is a plus, but not essential—we’ll train the
right person!
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain
one).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
