As Harwell continues to grow, we are expanding our Growth, Marketing & Partnerships team and are looking for a Marketing, Brand & Communications Lead to help shape the next phase of our journey. 

 

About the Role 

This is a newly created leadership role and an exciting opportunity to build and lead Harwell’s marketing function as the organisation enters its next stage of growth. 

Working closely with the Executive Head of Innovation and Growth, you will play a key role in building Harwell’s brand presence, strengthening community awareness, and supporting the expansion of our services into new markets and categories. 

You will have the opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up, shaping strategy, developing campaigns and helping grow a small marketing team over time. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, and who wants to contribute to the growth of a purpose-driven healthcare organisation. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and lead Harwell’s marketing strategy and annual marketing plan 

  • Build and evolve the organisation’s marketing function as Harwell grows 

  • Lead marketing campaigns that support client acquisition and service growth 

  • Strengthen and maintain Harwell’s brand identity and messaging 

  • Oversee content strategy across social media, blogs, newsletters and campaigns 

  • Identify opportunities for PR, thought leadership and industry engagement 

  • Manage sponsorships, community partnerships and brand visibility initiatives 

  • Collaborate with digital marketing and referral partnership teams to support growth 

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise marketing activity 

 

About You 

You are a practical and organised marketing professional who enjoys building things and seeing them grow. 

You are comfortable working in a purpose-driven organisation and motivated by making a positive difference in the community. 

 

You will bring: 

  • Strong experience in marketing, brand or communications roles 

  • Strong campaign planning and content development skills 

  • Excellent written communication and storytelling ability 

  • Experience managing social media and digital channels 

  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities 

  • A collaborative and proactive approach 

  • Experience in healthcare, aged care or community services will be highly regarded.
