🔩 THE ROLE
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for Engineering Graduates and Interns in our national engineering teams across various office locations. You will work under the direction of senior engineers to develop coordinated documentation for the delivery of high-quality engineering projects. Your day-to-day work will typically include:
- Preparing detailed engineering designs and documentation, which would include calculations, reports, design tasks and documentation associated with the projects. This would occur under direct supervision at first, with each step depending on your progress and confidence in approaching tasks unsupervised).
- Attendance at site inspections and project meetings, initially as an observer as part of your training path, eventually providing input, based upon your learning progress and confidence
- Familiarisation with office procedures, design techniques, calculation methods and design software
- Familiarisation with Australian Standards relevant to your field, the National Construction Code (NCC) and research into systems and design techniques using industry publications and technical manuals
- Contributing to smooth project delivery in collaboration with the broader team
- Interacting with colleagues across disciplines to support successful project outcomes
- Bringing fresh ideas and technical creativity to our national multidisciplinary engineering group

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Engineering, or completion of this degree within the next 12 months
- Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (or working towards it)
The following skills are not essential – but will be great if you have them:
- Knowledge and practical application of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards
- Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit or other engineering design software
- Experience assisting with site inspections
