About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard hand t to join our dealership team. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standard and the dealership yard is well-organized and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement
– Driving cars to and from service bays, storage areas, or display spots.
– Assisting with deliveries and pickups.
– Preparing cars for test drives or customer viewing.
Lot Organization
– Ensuring vehicles are parked neatly and safely.
– Keeping track of inventory locations so sales staff can quickly find cars.
– Presentation & Cleaning
– Washing, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles.
– Performing basic upkeep of dealership grounds (trash removal, sweeping).
Customer & Staff Support
– Helping customers locate vehicles on the lot.
– Assisting sales teams with vehicle presentation.
– Occasionally transporting vehicles to other dealership branches.
Skills & Requirements
– Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
– Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
– Physical stamina for outdoor work and frequent vehicle handling
