Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring their Portfolio of assets (mostly retail) are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and support the development of an existing to comprehensive facilities management plan
  • Manage all aspects of facility maintenance per asset agreement, which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
  • Manage existing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet their needs
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
