THE ROLE
We operate a modern fleet of various configurations from PBS twin steer truck and 6 axle dog tippers and A Double/triple road-trains tippers.
Our team of professional drivers pride themselves on their safety performance and ability to work independently and problem solve on the job.
We are looking for full time, experienced HC/MC Drivers to transport materials within our metro and regional operations. As one of our drivers you will be available Mon-Friday with plenty of Saturday work available.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safe operation of heavy vehicles including reporting all incidents and assessing risks
- Understand and adhere to National Heavy Vehicle legislation and WH&S Procedures
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report all maintenance issues
- Comply with ongoing drug and alcohol screening and other site access requirements
- Represent Hallett Group in a professional manner to the general public, road users and customers
- Maintain vehicles to company standards
- Participate in toolbox meetings and ongoing training and development
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
- Road Ranger experience (essential)
- Tipping experience
- Minimum licence requirements – HC unrestricted licence (essential)
- Competency in Basic Fatigue Management and Mass Management
