Warehouse Storeperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. The position will be on a casual basis, working full-time hours, with potential to transition to a permanent role depending on performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organised warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments
• Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
• Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, and freezer
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Comfortable to work in freezer environment
• Experience with ERP system preferred
