We’re now looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to play a hands‑on role in maintaining and continuously improving our food safety and quality systems across our manufacturing operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Compliance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all food safety, quality, and legislative requirements are consistently met while fostering a strong quality culture across production, warehouse, and support teams.
This is a semi‑autonomous role suited to someone confident in making day‑to‑day quality decisions and driving compliance on the floor. You will be empowered to:
- Place deliveries on hold where standards are not met
- Stop or hold production where food safety or quality risks are identified
You’ll be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Maintain and support the site Quality Management System (HACCP, SQF, GMP & PRPs)

Drive quality and food safety compliance across production and warehouse operations
- Conduct routine GMP inspections, audits, and internal reviews
- Investigate non‑conformances, perform root cause analysis and close corrective actions
- Review, maintain and control SOPs and quality documentation
- Support microbiological, chemical and physical testing programs
- Lead and investigate customer complaints and ensure effective resolution
- Support audits (internal, customer and regulatory)

Analyse quality data and identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Assist with NPD trials, validation and operator training
- Actively support WH&S compliance and improvement initiatives
ABOUT YOU
You’re a confident and detail‑driven QA professional who enjoys being visible on the production floor and influencing positive behaviours.
Essential experience:
- Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP and PRPs
- Experience implementing and maintaining food safety programs
- Root cause analysis and corrective action management
- Internal auditing and inspection experience
- Strong documentation control skills
- Sound understanding of food manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- WH&S awareness
Highly regarded:
- Experience in frozen or high‑risk food manufacturing
- Experience using ERP or digital quality systems
- Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or similar
- Proficiency in Mandarin language
