Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Finance Manager to support our growing portfolio and contribute to high quality financial reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement across the business. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will work closely with the General Manager – Property Finance and Administration and centre management teams to deliver financial reporting requirements and support end to end accounting processes across our assets.

About the role

  • Prepare monthly reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders, including profit and loss analysis, variance commentary, cashflow and balance sheet analysis, and joint venture reporting requirements.
  • Support efficient Month End and Year End processes, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and General Manager – Property Finance and Administration.
  • Oversee and drive improvements across Outgoings, Percentage Rent and Extended Trade processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for joint venture partners, auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure financial accuracy, compliance and integrity.
  • Enhance asset level and group level management reporting, including KPIs, forecasting and variance analysis with meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Asset and Development teams to analyse operational and project/development capex.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes, including enhancing the use of MRI and reducing manual data entry.
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes and ensure timely preparation, analysis and system upload.

About you

  • CA/CPA qualified, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in property, fund accounting, or related financial roles, ideally within retail or commercial property.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MRI or similar property management systems.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Organised, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
