Description

Role Description:

The Product & Project Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of GYRO.Group’s product roadmap, operating at the intersection of product management and project delivery.

Reporting to the Head of Development & Infrastructure, this role ensures that product initiatives are clearly scoped, well-communicated, prioritised correctly, and delivered on time, while remaining tightly aligned with business strategy, partner needs, and operational reality.

You are the primary connective layer between product development and the wider business, translating strategy into executable plans and ensuring that product development is executed in alignment with marketing, operations, or commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Roadmap Ownership & Development

  • Own the development, maintenance, and execution of the GYRO.Group product roadmap.
  • Facilitate roadmap planning in consultation with key business stakeholders across marketing, operations, commercial, and leadership.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform strategy.
  • Ensure roadmap priorities reflect genuine value creation for artists, partners, and internal teams.

2. Project Delivery & Execution

  • Act as the primary project lead for major product initiatives and platform improvements.
  • Work closely with the Head of Development & Infrastructure to assist with resource allocation, sequencing, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, risks are surfaced early, and dependencies are actively managed.
  • Maintain clear delivery timelines, milestones, and accountability across development teams.

3. Development & Business Alignment

  • Serve as the operational “glue” between product development and the broader GYRO.Group organisation.
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and transparent communication on project status, scope changes, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Artist Services to ensure:
  • Appropriate consultation occurs before feature rollout
  • Rollout plans are defined, documented, and executed
  • Internal teams are prepared and trained to support new features at launch
  • Accurate information is communicated to customers about new and improved products
  • Clear documentation is created and maintained for all new product launches

4. Product Validation & Testing

  • Conduct structured research with GYRO.Group’s existing partner and artist network to inform roadmap development.
  • Translate qualitative feedback and usage insights into actionable product priorities.
  • Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer value, not internal assumptions.
  • Close the loop with stakeholders by communicating how feedback informs roadmap decisions.

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Manage and mentor the Product Specialist, leveraging their deep platform knowledge to support roadmap execution and internal enablement.
  • Foster a product mindset that values clarity, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Build lightweight but effective product processes that scale with the business.

Role Requirements

Experience & Capability

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, project management, or hybrid product delivery roles within a technology or platform-led business.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives without losing delivery focus.
  • Experience working closely with product development teams in agile or iterative development environments.

Product & Delivery Skillset

  • Strong ability to translate business needs into structured product requirements and delivery plans.
  • Comfortable balancing stakeholder input with delivery constraints and technical realities.
  • Experience coordinating feature launches across technical and non-technical teams.

Communication & Leadership

  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in cross-functional environments.
  • Confident in challenging assumptions, clarifying scope, and managing expectations.
  • Calm, organised, and outcome-focused under delivery pressure.
