Forklift Operator

This is great opportunity for skilled forklift operators with a great work ethic and attitude to join one of the industry’s leading companies. GTS Freight Group (GTS), consisting of GTS Freight Management and G1 Logistics, and G1 Refrigerated Logistics, is a privately owned, market leader in linehaul transport and logistics solutions, servicing a range of blue-chip companies nationally. The group has a fleet of over 120 prime movers, over 450 trailers and 30,000 sqm of warehousing. GTS has a strong reputation in the transport industry due to its focus on customer service, safety and compliance.

This is a full time (Monday – Friday), permanent role that will provide good security and a stable career environment.

Working hours are 06.00am – 2.30pm (with occasional overtime).

We are currently seeking experienced forklift operators to join our Adelaide Team based at our Burton warehouse location. You will be required to:

• Load/unload trailers
• Ensure loads are properly restrained.
• Work within safety guidelines and adhere to safe work practice.
• Undertake daily operations checks of equipment.
• Work well as part of a close-knit Team in a fast-paced environment.

• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays

You will need to:

• Be safety conscious, professional and efficient.
• Be flexible and adaptable.
• Be a clear communicator, punctual and reliable.

To be eligible for full time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to;

• Pre-employment functional testing.

• Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.

• A valid forklift licence
