Pharmacy Assistant – Role Summary
As a Pharmacy Assistant at Green Life, you’ll support the daily operations of our modern, patient‑centred dispensary, helping streamline access to plant‑based medicine. You’ll assist with dispensing, patient enquiries, stock management, and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is hands‑on and customer‑focused — ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, values accuracy, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifications
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
S2/S3 Community Pharmacy certification
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Responsibilities
Supporting patients with prescription ordering and general enquiries
Answering phone calls and queuing prescriptions for dispensing
Maintaining accurate patient information and records
Following dispensary procedures to ensure efficient workflow
Invoicing and managing OTC stock
Maintaining an up‑to‑date stock register
Using our patient ordering portal
Assisting the pharmacist as required
Skills & Experience
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
Excellent organisational and communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Familiarity with eRx and ASL
Experience with Z Software (preferred but not essential)
