Support Services – Dining Attendant & Cleaners

Join our team at Good Shepherd Lodge! We’re seeking friendly, reliable casual Dining Attendants & Cleaners to support our residents’ daily care.

Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd operates two aged care facilities—Good Shepherd Lodge and Kerrisdale Gardens—with a total of 240 beds. Our purpose is to provide a caring, safe, and stimulating environment that supports our residents to live their later years to the fullest.

We are seeking dedicated, friendly, and reliable Casual Support Services Staff to join our team. These roles include Dining Attendants and Cleaners, offering an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

About the Roles:

• Dining Attendants: Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met, while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

• Cleaners: Ensure all facility areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, cleaning, or support services is an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Knowledge of food safety or cleaning protocols is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and serving (Dining Attendants)
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas, resident rooms, and dining areas (Cleaners)
• Communicate effectively with team members and interact respectfully with residents
• Comply with health, safety, and facility policies

Requirements:

• Current Flu Vaccination
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
