We’re currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team based in our workshop in Leongatha, Victoria.

About the Role

As a Mechanic, your initial responsibilities will include:

  • Performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Identifying, assessing, and resolving mechanical issues to ensure equipment reliability and safety
  • Following defined scopes of work and maintaining detailed records of service and repair activities.
  • Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the team.

About you

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:

  • A current Australian Certified Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • A current driver’s licence (HR/HC preferred).
  • A current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (highly desirable).
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to day-to-day tasks.
