Your New Role

This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be the visible face of IT operations at the office, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, social setting, and enjoys building relationships in person. The primary responsibility of the IT Support Technician is to work in within our Network Operations Centre (NOC) to carry out the monitoring of servers, networks, and telecommunication connectivity in data centres and other organisations.

What will you be doing?

  • Monitor tickets within ServiceNow (SNOW), investigating system issues, troubleshooting, and resolving tickets.
  • Provide application and desktop support.
  • Track and maintain support events using ServiceNow (Incidents, Requests, Changes, etc)
  • Escalate tickets with internal and external teams.
  • Communication updates when working on escalated/outage tickets.
  • Reboot systems/servers as needed.
  • Monitor infrastructure for degradation and security issues.

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience with Windows OS, PC Desktop administration, and an ITSM software, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Self-organising and achievement orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to support and build trust with a wide level of stakeholders.
  • Someone comfortable coming in to the office. This isn’t a remote role.
  • Full and permanent working rights in Australia.
