We are excited to announce the opening of our new Ipswich branch and are inviting internal expressions of interest for the position of Warehouse Manager.

The Opportunity

This is a key role in the successful launch of our new Ipswich branch. As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and leading all warehouse operations from day one. You will play a critical role in building a safe, efficient and high performing warehouse environment that supports both operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations while contributing to the overall success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch Lead, supervise and develop warehouse team members Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety Drive efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement across warehouse processes Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time Implement systems, structure and best practices for a new warehouse operation

A well organised, safe and efficient warehouse operation from day one Strong team performance and accountability High levels of order accuracy and on time dispatch Effective stock control and minimal discrepancies A positive and safety first culture within the team

About You

Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor or similar role Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team Experience in building products, manufacturing, logistics or distribution preferred Solid understanding of warehouse systems, processes and inventory management Strong focus on safety and operational discipline Hands on, reliable and solutions focused Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage competing priorities
