Family Wellbeing Support Worker

Gidgee Healing is seeking a compassionate and community-minded Family Wellbeing Support Worker to join our Family Wellbeing Service (FWS). This role plays a vital part in helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families access services, build capacity, and achieve wellbeing goals.

About the Role

• Facilitate access to health, social, and cultural services
• Support families in attending appointments and navigating systems
• Assist with parenting support, education, and cultural connection activities
• Conduct assessments and develop action plans guided by the QATSICPP framework
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement
• Promote Gidgee Healing services within the community
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers

Who We’re Looking For

• Certificate IV or higher in Child, Youth and Family Services, Community Services, or Youth Work
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and Police Check
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight in remote areas
