The Role: Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Gerflor, you will be at the heart of our commercial growth, nurturing existing relationships, discovering new ones, and representing a portfolio of products that truly make a difference in the built environment. This is a hands-on, people-focused role with domestic travel across the State to meet clients, learn firsthand what drives them, and help shape flooring solutions that exceed expectations.

What You’ll Do
• Manage the end-to-end process of the commercial business plan in your region.
• Build and sustain high value business with multiple clients including End Users, Facility Managers, Engineers, Local Councils and Builders across the Health, Education and Housing industries
• Grow both new and existing accounts while forecasting, planning, and reporting with clarity and confidence.
• Own quarterly goals and KPIs that shape your success — and celebrate them!
• Keep our CRM in tip top shape with accurate data to power insights and win rates.
• Analyse market dynamics and help inform wider strategic decisions
Who You Are:
You are a driven Account Manager who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and delivering real value to customers. You bring:
• 3+ years’ experience in sales/account management within the building and construction. manufacturing, interior finishing, plumbing or flooring industry (or similar)
• Strong relationship management, business development and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with CRM systems and MS Office applications
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Strategic and commercially minded, with a strong drive to achieve business growth and sales targets
• Willing and able to undertake frequent domestic travel
• A valid and unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly (with opportunities to explore new cities)
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (note: no current visa sponsorship available)
