About GenPhysio
GenPhysio is a community-based allied health provider delivering in-home and community care across South East Queensland and Melbourne.
Since 2015, we’ve grown with a clear purpose:
To help more people and change lives.
Our clinicians support clients across homes, aged care, schools, and the community — building meaningful relationships and delivering high-quality care where it matters most.
GenPhysio is proudly founder-led, with a hands-on CEO deeply committed to our team, our clients, and sustainable growth.
As we continue to expand our services and impact, we are creating a new senior leadership role:
The Opportunity
The Head of Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of GenPhysio, ensuring our services run efficiently while maintaining the clinical quality and culture we are known for.
This role will play a key part in helping the organisation grow sustainably while supporting the Founder to step back from day-to-day operational decision-making.
Key focus areas include:
• Leading operational performance across clinical teams and regions
• Ensuring strong clinician utilisation, caseload balance, and service delivery outcomes
• Aligning Clinical Operations, Clinical Excellence, and Client Services into a clear operational rhythm
• Strengthening systems, reporting, and operational structure as the organisation scales
• Supporting team leaders to drive accountability, performance, and culture
• Identifying operational risks early and implementing practical solutions
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys building structure and clarity while staying close to people and the work.
Why This Role Is Unique
GenPhysio is at an exciting stage of growth.
We have built a strong clinical foundation and leadership team, and are now focused on scaling sustainably while protecting the culture and quality that defines our organisation.
This role will play a critical part in helping the business grow from a founder-led organisation into a scalable healthcare organisation, while maintaining the personal and community-focused approach that sets us apart.

You will work closely with the CEO, People & Culture, Finance, Marketing, and Clinical Excellence leaders to ensure demand, workforce capacity, financial performance, and service quality remain aligned.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will look like:
• Consistent clinician utilisation and predictable service delivery
• Strong operational rhythm and accountability across teams
• High clinical quality and compliance maintained as the organisation grows
• Team leaders supported to lead proactively rather than reactively
• Operational issues identified early and addressed quickly
About You
We are specifically seeking a senior operations leader with prior experience in allied health, NDIS, community health, or a clinical service organisation.
Candidates without healthcare or allied health operations experience are unlikely to be the right fit for this role.
You will likely bring:
• Senior operations leadership experience within allied health, NDIS, community health, or a similar clinical services environment
• Strong understanding of clinician utilisation, caseload management, and service delivery models
• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams
• A calm and structured approach to operational problem-solving
• Confidence making decisions and owning outcomes
• The ability to support and challenge teams constructively
• Comfort working closely with a hands-on Founder and leadership team
Most importantly, you care deeply about people, clinical quality, and building systems that support great care.
