GEM Energy (trading as RACQ Solar) is seeking an organised and people-focused Administration Support Officer to join our residential solar team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who is friendly, enjoys chatting on the phone and can handle admin tasks on their own.

Your primary job will be supporting our busy solar sales consultants by contacting their customers, understanding what they’re after and booking in appointments for them.
You will also be helping the residential team with administration tasks.
As a successful candidate, you:
- Will be happy to work in our modern office at Pinkenba (it’s dog-friendly, so bring your pooch if it’s as social as you).
- Are customer-service focused and very organised. You’ll be working with multiple customers and up to ten sales consultants.
- Are proactive, hard-working and have excellent attention to detail.
- Importantly, have a professional attitude but are friendly with the ability to laugh and enjoy working with a great team.
- Are competent in using computers.
About the Role
In this administration support role, you will:
- Respond to inbound customer calls and online enquiries, capturing details and understanding customer needs.
- Manage, qualify, and follow up on incoming leads to support sales opportunities (training provided).
- Coordinate and schedule customer appointments with sales consultants.
- Open and manage service or support tickets for customer enquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in the CRM.
- Assist with contractor administration, including licence and certification checks.
- Support reporting and ensure sales and administration processes are followed and updated.
- Undertake general and ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the residential solar team.
