About the Role

Gallery Group is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide commercially focused legal advice across our property development, construction and real estate operations. This role is integral to managing legal risk while supporting the successful delivery of development projects and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial and property-related agreements
• Provide legal advice across property development, construction and acquisition activities
• Support corporate legal matters including employment, IP, and internal documentation
• Assist with regulatory compliance, including QBCC and SDA requirements
• Manage disputes, including legal correspondence and liaison with external solicitors
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Development, Construction, Sales and Real Estate teams
• Conduct legal research and provide timely, practical advice

About You

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years’ post-admission experience (PAE) in commercial, property or construction law
• Admitted legal practitioner in Australia with a current practising certificate
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience in property development or construction highly regarded
• Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
