Morning Kitchen Hand

As a kitchen hand, you’ll be right in the heart of the action, helping our chefs with food prep, keeping the kitchen spick and span, and lending a hand with meal service. You’ll play a key role in making sure our campers and staff are well-fed and fuelled for adventure.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming and tidy dining space, makes sure dietary needs are always met, and keeps food safe and service running smoothly. If you’re reliable, punctual, organised, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves, you’ll fit right in. Team spirit’s a must, but being able to handle things on your own is just as important.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Food Preparation: Assist to ensure all food is prepared and ready for mealtimes under the direction from kitchen chefs.
• Serving area setup and pack up
• Kitchen pack down
• Cleaning and restock
• Ensuring all is set for morning

COMPLIANCE AND OTHER REQUIRMENTS

• Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Visa in Australia
• Comfortability with working hours which may include occasional tasks outside normal working hours.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Hold and keep current NSW WWCC.
• Desire to learn company Dietary policy and procedures.
• Is aware and follow manual handling guidelines.
• Personal drive, results-orientated with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• A high level of personal hygiene.
• Strong time management and organisation skills with ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks, and work Independently.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in the Kitchen environment desirable.
• Knowledge of Dietary Needs.
