Do you love working in a busy kitchen, enjoy being part of a friendly team, and take pride in creating positive experiences for others?  We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Catering Assistant to play a key role in our early‑morning breakfast service. If you’re someone who enjoys starting work early this could be a great fit!

You’ll be part of the team that prepares, sets up and delivers breakfast service, ensuring food is ready on time, presented well and served safely. After breakfast, you’ll support kitchen and dining operations including food prep, cleaning, dishwashing and pack‑down.

Hours

Monday 7.00 am to 12.00 pm, Tuesday to Friday 5.30 am to 12.30 pm

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Serving meals with a friendly and welcoming attitude
  • Maintaining clean, organised kitchens and dining areas
  • Washing, sanitising and storing dishes and equipment
  • Helping set up and pack down service areas
  • Following food safety, allergen and hygiene requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced in catering, hospitality or food service
  • Reliable, punctual and happy to roll up your sleeves
  • Knowledgeable about food safety and dietary requirements
  • Friendly, positive and customer-focused

What you’ll need

  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • A current (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check
  • A commitment to child-safe principles, food safety and WHS standards
