  • State Manager – Queensland
  • Role Purpose:
  • The State Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across the assigned state. Reporting to the Senior State Manager Team, this role ensures high standards of execution, service delivery, and people leadership.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership
  • • Lead, coach and develop State Management and field teams to achieve high performance outcomes.
  • • Ensure all store standards are met and maintained across Vendor Refill and Independent channels.
  • • Drive operational excellence through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • • Ensure store audits are completed regularly, with insights used to drive service improvements.
  • • Oversee labour planning, scheduling, and resourcing to ensure operational efficiency.
  • • Work closely with Senior State Manager team, Projects, CRM, and other SMs to support store openings, refurbishments, and new client onboarding.
  • Financial Management
  • • Manage state wages and expenses within approved budgets.
  • • Review and approve timesheets accurately and on time.
  • • Monitor payroll and financial reports, identifying and correcting errors promptly.
  • • Support sales initiatives and growth opportunities to drive revenue performance.
  • • Implement corrective actions where required to maintain strong financial results.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • • Deliver consistent service excellence that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • • Support CRM and Business Development initiatives across Vendor Refill, Independents, and Projects.
  • • Ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
  • People Leadership & Development
  • • Lead, coach, and develop teams through structured feedback and performance reviews
  • Implement succession planning and talent development initiatives.
  • • Drive engagement, motivation, and retention through strong leadership practices.
  • • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned to company values.
  • Safety, Compliance & Governance
  • • Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • • Promote a safe working environment and actively manage workplace risks.
  • • Ensure safety incidents, hazards, and near misses are reported and addressed promptly.
  • • Maintain compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
  • Performance & Reporting
  • • Achieve KPIs across operations, financial performance, service delivery, and compliance.
  • • Deliver accurate reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • • Lead structured team meetings to communicate priorities and performance.
