BrightSky Australia is the social enterprise of Forward Ability Support and services the ageing and disability sector with medical consumables and equipment across Australia to the home, businesses and government. All profits go towards supporting Forward’s community programs.

The Opportunity

Join an established People & Culture Team in making an impact through learning and development initiatives. Are you passionate about creating an amazing induction experience and equipping teams with the skills they need to succeed? We’re looking for a proactive and organised learning and development coordinator to join our team.

This is a Part-time role (4 hours a day, 4 days a week) with some flexibility in your work days and hours (within standard business hours) to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate our organisation wide induction program for new team members
  • Support leaders to identify training needs
  • Develop learning modules and resources
  • Be the key administrator and point of contact for our LMS – Go1
  • Support Managers in performance development initiatives
  • Develop and maintain an annual training calendar
  • Provide regular compliance reporting on learning and development

Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven experience in a learning and development role
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment or a qualification related to learning and development delivery
  • Strong instructional design and content development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
